In Lent we prepare our hearts for Jesus’ passion, death, and resurrection. We take on disciplines because we desire to be more open to the Lord. Perhaps the best discipline and gift we can give to God is to have the courage to speak honestly, to say what we need to say, to clear the air. This would be an act of love and allow us to hear what the Lord will say in response.
We will reflect together on this theme and then take time individually with the Lord and open our hearts to receive from God. Join us for this afternoon retreat at the Ignatian Spiritual Life Center.
Our time together will include rest, prayer, and reflection.
