Introduction to the theme:

Jesus rises from the dead full of joy and he comes to find his friends in their sorrow, fear, and struggle. He comes to console them, to restore them. The first words he says are "Peace be with you." Those words are not primarily a greeting, they are Jesus blessing and giving his disciples his peace.

Just like those first disciples, Jesus comes to us, wherever we may be. He meets us where we are and speaks peace to us. In this gathering, we will seek to open ourselves and receive these words of peace from our Lord and friend. This gathering is open to anyone, whether they have prayed the Spiritual Exercises or not.
